Spencer was in summer theater again this year. He was anxious to try out this summer since his favorite director, Emily, was with the program again. (Last year was really hard for him since he didn't really like the director. This year, compared to last year, was like night and day when it came to his attitude.)
This year's musical was Olive*r. Spencer got the part of Mr. Bumble - the not-so-nice orphanage director. He had several speaking lines and lots of singing to do in this play. Here he is in the first scene.

Spencer's character had a love interest in this play - something very different for Spence. But, he did great!
We even got to watch him do some dancing!
Once again, we are so proud of his performance. What a joy he was to watch!
