My Mom came over for a visit today and we decided to go to our favorite local Chinese restaurant for lunch. Since I'm not working, we don't eat out very often and therefore don't visit this restaurant as much as we used to - or as much as we'd like to. But that hasn't stopped the owner from taking a liking to us. As we ate our lunch, he came up and gave us an almost full bag of Chinese popsicles!!! These are not items inlcuded in the buffet and appeared to be one of his own treats that he was willing to share with us. What a surprise and blessing!! We thought it was so neat to see both Chinese and American writing on the bag.
They made Malia VERY happy!
