By US law, Malia became an official US citizen the moment she stepped foot on US soil. This took place at the O'Hare Airport in Chicago on Saturday evening!!! Now comes more paperwork to apply for her social security number and US passport.
I was hoping to have her hold a US flag when we took the picture, but our flags were too big to put in our carry-on bags and by the time we got to Ft. Wayne we thought we had lost two pieces of luggage, so getting to the flag was forgotten about. Oh well. It was still a very memorable moment!

She is too cute looking down at her feet. She seems to be saying, "Make sure I touch the ground".
The whole journey was a memorable experience.
Grandma needs to see Baby Girl already!
