I decided to check emails tonight - almost didn't - but am so glad I did! We received an email from our agency with tentative travel plans! I'm so excited and nervous ... and excited! Here's the tentative schedule:October 30 - Leave the US (my birthday!)
October 31 - Arrive in Beijing
November 1 - Sightseeing
November 2 - Fly to Jiangxi Province
November 3 - Gotcha Day!!!
November 8 - Fly to Guangzhou
November 12 - Consulate Appointment (earliest requested date)
November 14 - Fly home
This is still all so surreal! It's been the longest, hardest, most grueling wait ever and it's almost over.
Rick bought me an early birthday present and gave it to me today. It's a watch that has the Chinese symbols for Mother and Daughter on the face. It's beautiful and precious to me. Thank you, Honey, for being excited for me to be a Mommy again ... and to have a daughter. I so love being able to share this journey with you, my best friend!
Okay, now where are those suitcases ... ?
