On the heels of being excited about finally receiving our fingerprint date comes some possible baaaad news about referrals. The Rumor Queen site has several connections stating that the next cutoff date will be October 26, 2005 --- only 2 days worth of LID's matched. If this is true I'm pretty sure I'll cry...
Someone who posted on RQ stated that many European agencies have large numbers of LID's for October 25-26, 2005. If this is true, it will be the main factor in the US receiving so few referrals in this batch.
If the cutoff is, in deed, only through October 26th, this adds an additional month to our wait. (sigh)...(sigh)...(sigh)

Jennifer, chin up girl. You have been doing amazingly well through this whole process, so you need to keep remembering...this is God's timing, not ours...but darn, we were hoping too. You can always come cry on my shoulder and get hugs from dad and me. We're praying the time goes quickly through the rest of the referrals. With support from your family and friends, you'll make it. You're the best!

Now dont be crying. You will have me crying too. I know you are on the verge of disappointment, but as with the fingerprints, you will be getting the news you are longing for. We are all here to support you and comfort you.

It's okay to be bummed and disappointed, but also know that soon the wait will be over and Malia will be in your arms. Each day is a day closer to that happening. Our prayers and the prayers of others are with you now and all through this long process. You are to be commended for your patience (you must have gotten that from your dad).
