Well, the mysterious packages have arrived in the US and DO contain referrals! Yippee!! We know that this group of referrals went through at least October 24, 2005 because our agency had families with log-in-dates (LIDs) of October 18 and 24. The CCAA has not updated their site yet, so the exact cutoff date is not known yet. Once they update, I'll update the CCAA News section of our blog to reflect where they are. I'm expecting the cutoff to be the 24th since many other sites are reflecting this date.
As a means to get through the wait, I've created a spreadsheet on our Excel program to keep track of how many LIDs are still ahead of us. (Yes, a little obsessive, I know. But somehow it keeps me sane.) We now have 108 LIDs ahead of us to be matched before we are matched with Malia. I get this by counting how many days are between October 24, 2005 and February 9, 2006 (our LID). I've also calculated that we are 390 days into the wait since our LID. But seriously, who's counting?

I am hoping and praying the CCAA speeds up. You are cracking me up with the spreadsheet but RQ is out of pocket so you had to do something!
