It has been such an incredible blessing to watch you grow and flourish these past seven months. You are an amazing little girl with such spirit and spunk. I do, however, have a feeling there are many time-outs awaiting you in the future for backtalk. Why, you ask ... because you already seem to backtalk in your own jibber-jabber when we scold you. (Of course, right now it's cute and makes us laugh.)
It's so fun to listen to you jabber away. You are starting to say the same sounds over and over. We just wish we knew what you were saying! It won't be long now and you'll be speaking in full sentences. I love when you mimic us when we whisper. It's too sweet. "Apple" is a new word of yours lately, as is "bubble" (your Daddy's first word!).
You are so smart! You understand so much and are able to follow more instructions. When we say "show me", you take our hand and lead the way to show us whatever it is you want us to see. When we tell you it's time for night-night kisses, you run straight to Spencer's room for his kiss and then straight back to your room to jump in the rocking chair with Mommy or Daddy for some cuddle time. We all love it.
I do have two requests of you right now. First, please stop taking the Cheez-It box out of the cupboard and dumping it out on the floor. It makes such a mess! And secondly, please stop playing in the toilet.
We love you, sweet Malia! So very much. We continue to thank God for allowing us to be your family and for the blessing of being a part of your every day life. Big hugs and kisses to you.

This is such a fun post! As frustrating as it may be some times, it's nice to know I'm not the only one that has days where you think your loosing it. Thank you for sharing all moments with us, good, goofy and the ones that one day will have their cuteness wear off.
Happy 18th months Malia Jo. You sure have grown in the past 8 months. It will be exciting to watch you through the years.
