MISS MISCHIEVOUS

Rick recently put safety latches on three of our kitchen cabinets, so Malia has run into some problems getting into them. However, this hasn't stopped her from continuing to get into other spaces she enjoys visiting. Here are some examples ...

EXHIBIT A:
A couple days ago Rick found Malia handing him a box of Cheez*Its. She had gone into the cabinet, gotten them out and seemed to want help getting into the box. Today, she seemed to have mastered getting into the box herself.

And might I add that this actually happened while I was in the kitchen looking at something on the counter opposite this cabinet. She's a quick little thing!

EXHIBIT B:
Malia's new favorite place to visit is the refrigerator. She's like a locomotive on a mission when she sees that door open. She likes to step up onto the little ledge and just touch anything she can get her hands on.

And she loves to take things out of the door.

EXHIBIT C:
And, of course, there is the chip drawer. She's often found pulling out the little chip clips and carrying them around. However, this usually happens after she's pulled some things out of the drawer.

Today was the first time we saw her actually try to climb into the drawer and after taking this snapshot, we found ourselves pulling her out!

Like I mentioned before ... she's a quick little thing! She may be finding herself locked out of more cabinets and drawers!
