Rick and I have spent a little bit of time on the Rumor Queen site looking at poll results. Every so often she makes a poll that asks people to share their Log-in-Date. This is how she comes up with some of her predictions. It's good to point out that her poll results only include those who visit her site and choose to vote. There are many adopting families throughout the world who don't visit her site and therefore don't vote.
The January 5-9 batch included 57 families.
The January 10-12 batch included 129 families.
The January 13-22 batch (if the cutoff is the 22nd) would include 119 families.
So, even though some batches include fewer or more Log-in-Dates, the number of LIDs included in each batch can vary greatly depending on how many families are logged in on any given day. As you can see above the three-day batch included more familiese than the possible 10-day batch.
Heres' what follows:
January 23 through February 9 includes 239 families on the RQ poll. We think the referral batch in July will not get out of January LIDs. This is why we believe that we will most likely get our referral in August. Here's an example...
January 23-26 has 130 families. This could possibly be a bigger July batch.
January 27-February 9 would include 109 families. This is the batch we could very likely be in, which would be the August batch. If batches are a little smaller, we should still receive a referral in the September batch.
If you'd like to see the poll results yourself click here and then click on "poll results" in the "Site Navigation" section located in the right-hand column.

Several agencies are reporting that packages are enroute and expected to arrive Monday. Since tonight will be Monday in China, we're hoping the CCAA will update "the box" with the official cutoff so we can know for sure whether or not they got to the 22nd.
It's hard to believe after all this time that we should have our referral in two to three months!
