OFFICIAL CUTOFF POSTED

We received an email from our agency today saying the CCAA updated "the box" to show January 12th as the cutoff date. This is a crummy three-day batch. We're now at 28 days of LIDs between the current cutoff date and our LID.

At this rate it's really hard to know when to expect our referral. I like visiting the China Adoption Forecast website that takes the CCAA's current stats and lets you know where your LID falls within the current trends. For a few months it was looking good for an August referral. But checking it today, it has changed to September - Spencer's birthday is actually the date given as a possible referral date at the current trend of 5 .7 LID's per batch.

It's "funny" to read posts from the last year and see how many times we were wrong about when to expect our referral. Unfortunately the time has continued to lengthen and lengthen and we've passed several of those proposed dates. That's why I mentioned above that I really don't know when to expect our referral. When we think things can't slow down any further ... they do somehow.
