RQ has a few agencies talking about January 12th. One is saying the 12th is included in this next batch and another is saying that the 12th is the cutoff, and yet a third is talking about the 12th but isnt sure if it's just included or if it's the cutoff. It's very probable that matching has begun for this batch of referrals ... meaning baby files and family files are being matched together.
My thoughts on these early rumors...all I can do is sigh. If the 12th is the cutoff, that would be only three days of LIDs in this batch. All we can do is wait and see what the CCAA will do. It's frustrating to be this close and still have no idea when our referral for Malia will come...especially since the reality is that it won't likely be until late this year. But, we continue to trust in God's timing and know He is working out His perfect will. At least we have that going for us!

Ugh..only 3 days! Well, I guess that's 3 days closer than we were. I was praying that it would be 7-10days! And there's Malia oblivious to all this anxiousness and frustration of the loving family awaiting her. God is good and He has the perfect daughter in mind for you of that we can be certain. Hang in there, sweetie, your turn is coming soon.
Love & hugs, Mom
Sometimes waiting for something is like climbing a ladder. You take each rung of the ladder until you reach the top. You have to be persistent in your climb to reach your goal. Each day that passes is one day closer to that beautiful daughter we are anxiously waiting for. God's love for Malia will make certain that you will get her in His perfect time.
You all are loved so much, and we are all praying for God's Perfect Will.
Mama Mia
I'm saddened by the low number. Don't get discouraged yet...you've come so far and every little number is getting you closer than you were.
I love reading the blogs of families who have traveled to China and picked their child up. One I read today was from the Donaldson family of WI. How special that couple must be and the love in their hearts to take these special needs children.
I felt like I took the trip with them....they have wonderful pictures and she gave such great details of the trip. I'm ready to pack my bags and go with you to get Malia.
I hope you can find comfort while waiting by reading these blogs and get some insight of what to expect when your turn comes. What a great experience it will be for your family. One thing I've learned from reading them, is that you will be a celebrity while there since you are a blond!! That's too funny, but eat it up while you can! I suppose Rick will be wanting to dye his hair blond so he doesn't feel left out. Ha!
We're still upholding you in our prayers!
Big Hugs....
