Referrals arrived in the US yesterday. It looks like the cutoff date is November 7, 2005, but that hasn't been offically confirmed yet. If it is the correct cutoff date it means 6 days of LIDs were included with this recent batch. Not the number we were hoping for, but the latest rumors have been pointing to the 7th so it's not a surprise. My "Adoption Referral Countdown" spreadsheet shows that we are now 94 LIDs away from our referral for Malia. GOOD GRIEF! This process is taking f o r e v e r !!!
On another note ... we've been super busy recently, which is why I haven't been taking time to update our blog. I'll be sure to catch you all up after VBS, which is next week.

That's better than the 2 days the one time. Yes, we agree it is taking forever but once we hold Malia, it will be worth it. Hope all goes well with VBS. Don't stress too much, it will all work out. You do such a great job! We are sooooo proud of you.

94 today, 93 tomorrow, 92 day after. The time to go and get Malia will be here soon. You are in the final stages. Hang in there, 94 is better than 194, hey, just trying to look on the bright side. We are still praying that at some point things speed up or when it is all said and done you KNOW exactly why it was God had you wait so long. One this is for sure, Malia will be WORTH every agonizing moment of waiting!!!!! Hope to see you at Strawberry Fest Parade!!
