Three generations right here!!! What a great legacy is being past down from generation to generation to generation. We are so blessed to have each other!
As everyone arrived, Rick's mom had us write our names on a piece of paper for a raffle. After lunch, we gathered for the drawing. Cindy chose Rick to pick the name from the bucket. The first two pieces said "me" and the third said "Rick". Yeah! He won. But it was no luck of the draw. She had rigged the bucket so Rick was the only one who could win, and look at the prize! A Chinese lantern quilt for Malia!!! Thank you, Cindy, for this beautiful gift ... what a treasure!
Of course, Tom tried to make us believe that he had made the quilt ... but who's this guy trying to kid? Okay, maybe Rick was fooled, but not me! I'm on to you, Tom!

After a few hours we headed over to my parent's house to have some time with them and my brother's family. We had a great time, as well - joking and laughing so hard we cried. I just have to say "Maloha" to my family for the great evening. Here's me and my Dad --- one of the best in the whole world!

And, here's the three of us at the end of a fantastic day. What a blessing our fathers are to us! We can't wait to share this special day with Malia next year.

We are so proud of the father Rick is. I am not surprised though. He is the same now that he has always been. He is a man by all measures. He is also the kind of husband I would want to have myself. That says bunches. Preparing our children for life is a huge responsibility. Rick and you are doing a great job.
Rigged the drawing....who me? Nah...Rick was just lucky to have drawn his name from all the other Rick names in the bucket.
Family get togethers are always such a hoot and so much fun at our house ( anyones house for that matter).
Once you become a parent, you truly do realize the love that God has for each one of us. It is beyond measure or explaination.
Each of our Fathers are a blessing and a treasure.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads
