This playdate was a little different than our previous playdates - the whole family was invited! Unfortunately, Spencer had plans with friends this evening, but Rick was able to join us - along with three other families.
Here is Malia having fun playing at the sand table.
She was having so much fun that she gave us a hard time coming in to eat supper. Her strong-willed side definitely shined!
But, we were able to coax her in to eat with the other girls.
As supper winded down, the adults sat around the table talking while the girls went into the other room to play (don't worry, we checked in on them a lot!). While we were talking, we began to hear a lot of shouting and laughing coming from that room with all the girls. When we snuck a peak at them, we saw that they were playing with a Christmas toy on top of the coffee table. They'd squeeze the hand to make it dance and sing and then fling themselves underneath the table to lie down as quickly as possible.
These girls are just a riot to watch. What a blessing to have these friendships!
