This evening we met with our social worker, Jenny, from Gateway Woods for our FINAL home visit! After more than four years of dealing with mounds of paperwork, we are finished! Jenny will write up our report, we'll review it, it will be sent to our adoption agency - Children's Hope, International - and then on to the CCAA in China.
I must say it's a bitter-sweet time, although more sweet than bitter. The bitter part comes from no longer needing to work with our social worker who has been wonderful to us these last four years. Thank you, Jenny, for all you've done for us and for helping make our adoption experience so amazing!
After Jenny left our house we changed Malia into her jammies. Since she loves her rubber boots so much, she decided to put them on.
