BLUFFTON STREET FAIR

It's been a busy time, but we made it over to the annual street fair in my hometown. I have such fun memories from this special week and am glad to be able to share it now with my own family. Although we don't live in town and we're not always able to make it every year, I love it when we're able to find at least one day to go over.

Since Spencer's best friend, Tanner, was spending the weekend with us, he got to share in the fun event, too. Here are the dynamic duo ready to hit the town.

And finally, after all these years of waiting, Malia was able to attend her very first Street Fair! Just look at her ... she's so excited she can hardly contain herself!

First things first - we headed for one of the mouse games. This is where my friends and I used to spend a lot of time - and money - playing. It's fun to watch Spencer playing. And not long into his time or money ...

... he won his sister her very first stuffed animal from Street Fair! He chose a baby Taz.


Then it was Malia's turn to play a game. She couldn't go wrong with the duck game!


She was so funny to watch because she kept picking up duck after duck after duck.


And in the end, she won a stuffed duck (picture below).

There's no better way to get around the fair than riding on Daddy's shoulders - up high where you can see everything. At this point, she was having nothing to do with the stroller!

We then headed to the kiddie ride section and Malia got to experience another one of my favorite childhood memories - the mega slide!

She loved it - just look at that smile!


She then challenged Spencer and Tanner to a race.


And the winner is ... Malia and Daddy!


Spencer and Tanner were good sports, though.

Then, it was off to the horse races so Daddy could try to win Malia a prize. Spencer and Tanner were still in the mood for some good competition, so they joined him.
