18 MONTH CHECK-UP

Malia had her 18 month check-up today. She checked out really well. She weighs 23 pounds 5 ounces, which is in the 35th percentile on the charts. She is now 33 inches tall, which is in the 90th percentile on the charts! Tall and skinny! She's grown three inches in less than six months!

Unfortunately, today was also a continuing vaccination day. She got four shots, two in each leg. At our doctor's office, two nurses will come in and each take a leg so they can do two shots at once. Today they each did that twice. She was a trooper and only whimpered on the second round. Once the band aids were on and the nurses crooned over her, she gave them a big smile.
